DIRECTOR OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS

Murad Zaamout is the Director of Hockey Operations and Associate Head Coach for the U15 Prep team at ROAR Hockey Academy. His hockey career began in Calgary, where he played minor hockey with the Calgary Saints and the Trails West Hockey Association before advancing to compete in the Alberta Elite Hockey League (AEHL) with the Calgary Royals.

With a wealth of experience, Murad has worked at Winsport Hockey and served as a skills coach for Dynastars Hockey. His extensive background in both playing and coaching is complemented by a strong commitment to athlete development.

Brendan Tendeck’s hockey journey began in Calgary where he played quadrant hockey with the Northwest Calgary Athletic Association. His early promise with the U15 AA Bronks, U15 AAA Flames and Minor Midget AAA Stampeders earned him a spot in main camp with the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL.

Tendeck's love for coaching inspired him to step into the coaching stream, and brings experience from SDR Academy, Winsport, and CIHA Camps. Tendeck currently works at Edgemont Athletic, boasting almost half a decade of Sports Performance and personal training experience. Tendeck Carries the following certifications:

Bachelor of Health and Physical Education (B.H.P.E.), Major in Sports and Recreation Management, Minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

First Aid & CPR-C

Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

U15 PREP ASSISTANT COACH

Eric brings a wealth of experience and a natural leadership ability to his role as Assistant Coach for CRHA U15 Prep. During his minor hockey days in Calgary, primarily with the Trails West organization, Eric distinguished himself both as a skilled player and as a leader. He captured over five city titles and served as team captain for over four seasons.

Eric’s leadership and performance extended to the international stage when he represented Team Canada at the 2020 Cowboys Invitational Czech Hockey Cup. His exceptional play and leadership on the ice were pivotal in leading Canada to a 4th place finish. Eric Carries the following certifications:
